Keep in mind, when you place an order for an item to be DuraCoated, unless specified, I will coat the ENTIRE exterior of the object, minus any part that is obvious (to me) that should NOT be coated (lenses on scopes, internal parts or parts with tight tolerances, exposed bolt or bolt carriers, etc.) UNLESS I am specifically instructed to do otherwise.
Nickel stripping, electroless nickel,
brass, copper, silver, and 18kt durable gold plating also available. Weapon
disassembly required.
I do NOT plate or anodize aluminum.
Polishing is usually required prior to re-plating, and is an additional charge.
Polishing can be ordered separately for items that have dulled or have fine
scratches.
Media blasting, sanding, and/or draw filing may be required to remove previously
applied finishes, and are billed at an additional hourly charge.
It is NOT required for Anodizing to be removed prior to DuraCoat application.
