Keep in mind, when you place an order for an item to be DuraCoated, unless specified, I will coat the ENTIRE exterior of the object, minus any part that is obvious (to me) that should NOT be coated (lenses on scopes, internal parts or parts with tight tolerances, exposed bolt or bolt carriers, etc.) UNLESS I am specifically instructed to do otherwise.
(I prefer to NOT mess with coating ABS plastics, and will NOT coat Hogue grips. The amounts of mold-released used during manufactuirng of those two items make stripping them a HUGE time consumer.)
Media blasting, sanding, and/or draw filing may be required to remove previously
applied finishes, and are billed at an additional hourly charge.
It is NOT required for Anodizing to be removed prior to DuraCoat application.
