I am a certified DuraCoat Finisher, and I love working with this stuff! I’ll be happy to DuraCoat whatever you need!

Keep in mind, when you place an order for an item to be DuraCoated, unless specified, I will coat the ENTIRE exterior of the object, minus any part that is obvious (to me) that should NOT be coated (lenses on scopes, internal parts or parts with tight tolerances, exposed bolt or bolt carriers, etc.) UNLESS I am specifically instructed to do otherwise.

DuraHeat Coating is required for any weapon barrels to be used in a “rapid-fire” mode. (Regular DuraCoat is good to about 500 –600 Degrees f). I would also recommend it on any exhaust or engine parts. DuraHeat is good to 1800 Degrees f!

IF Media Blasting is required to remove previously applied polymer finishes, it is at an additional charge.

I usually parkerize an item after stripping and prior to DuraCoating, but Parkerizing is NOT required for application of DuraCoat.

Nickel stripping, electroless nickel, brass, copper, silver and 18kt durable gold plating also available. Weapon disassembly required.
I do NOT plate aluminum.
Polishing is usually required prior to re-plating, and is an additional charge.
Polishing can be ordered separately for items that have dulled or have fine scratches.
Media blasting, sanding, and/or draw filing may be required to remove previously applied finishes, and are billed at an additional hourly charge.
It is NOT required for Anodizing to be removed prior to DuraCoat application.

Keep in mind that unless you are local or deliver an item for me to finish to a shop I am affiliated with, you will have to ship it to me (insured) and I will charge you to return ship it (insured.)
